As Vancouver downtown waterfront developments flourish, new opportunities will abound. The Port of Vancouver’s improvements to the local infrastructure will continue to aid and support private commercial investment projects.

The establishment of the Downtown-South/Waterfront Opportunity Zone offers strong incentives for private partnership investments. The Port of Vancouver will continue to nurture business growth and development through strategic partnerships.

Daniels Way Plaza

The Daniels Way Plaza will be a prominent public area in the center of all four architectural developments: the marketplace, mixed-use office building, residential tower, and hotel. It will serve as a key outdoor area for activities and events and a corridor to the waterfront. The water-themed elements, public seating, and shaded areas, will offer a pleasant location for people to relax and enjoy panoramic views of Terminal 1.

A portion of this project will be constructed in conjunction with the Renaissance Trail in

The Brewery

Located on the northern edge of Daniels Way Plaza, the micro-brewery will be an intimate, iconic place where Terminal 1 visitors relax in a serene waterfront environment. Patrons will enjoy flavorful, handcrafted beer varieties while young brewers will also be provided an opportunity to develop the craft. Envisioned as a public-private partnership, the Port of Vancouver hopes to work with community and private partners to make the experience unique.
