Vesta Hospitality is a Vancouver-based company selected to develop the port’s new Terminal 1 hotel property. Established in 1996, the company offers a complete range of services, including hotel management, hotel development, and purchasing, Vesta Hospitality has worked on properties in 14 states and Alberta, Canada. Their Vancouver hotels include Homewood Suites by Hilton, La Quinta by Wyndham, and the announced AC Hotel by Marriott.

State of Washington
The Terminal 1 project could not happen without the support from the State of Washington. Funding for several Terminal 1 projects, including the Renaissance Trail, East Portal, Vancouver Landing, Red Lion demolition and demolition of the 100-year-old dock and design and permitting for new T1 dock. The port has received more than $12 million in funds through the Washington State Capital and Transportation budgets, thanks to the taxpayers of Washington State.
Regional Transportation Council (RTC)
The Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council (RTC) has been a key supporter of the Terminal 1 project. They provided nearly $500,000 through a federal Transportations Alternative (TA) grant that is helping to fund the Renaissance Trail and phase 1 of the Daniels Way Plaza. RTC’s TA grants are used to help projects which promote alternative forms of transportation such as cycling and walking in the community.
Rotary Club of Vancouver Washington
The Rotary Club of Vancouver has committed significant resources to the Vancouver Landing redevelopment project in honor of the club’s 100-year anniversary. This club has been meeting at Terminal 1 since their founding in 1921. This contribution marks the largest in the local Rotary Foundation’s history and will be used to enhance the historical elements of the site as well as to provide better access for all to enjoy the waterfront.

State of Washington
The vision for Terminal 1 could not happen without the help from the State of Washington. Funding for the Renaissance Trail, East Portal and the renovation of Vancouver Landing was provided by our partners at the state. Legislative budget writers were able to assist the port in providing $5.8 million in funding for these projects through the State Capital and Transportation budgets.
