Doing business with the port
Terminal 1 is owned by the Port of Vancouver USA. With the port being a public agency, they must comply with specific laws defined in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW). The port’s contracts department is responsible for procurement services that provide a fair, secure and user-friendly process.
Procurement cards, authorized purchase orders, and executed contracts are tools used for purchasing. Suppliers should obtain a signed purchase order or fully executed contract prior to providing goods or services. Invoices submitted without an authorized purchase order number or contract number may result in delay or refusal of payment.
